Our eighth set of clay, ash and water samples come from the town of Enines in the province of Walloon Brabant. Françoise came across the clay while working in the conservation orchard of Flore et Pomone. With both a conservational and educational focus, Flore et Pomone aims to introduce the public to the many different fruit varieties available in the region as well as the techniques for propagating and cultivating them.
